有色金属，是一个庞大的“家族”。家族内有“轻金属”“重金属”“贵金属”“放射性金属”“稀有金属”，但不管怎样，他们都是金属家族的“成员”，起着“为人民服务”的作用。

在我们的生活中，有色金属被广泛运用，比如：汽车、建材、家电、机械制造等等，因而，对于他们的回收利用，也就更为重要了。
